Assam Direct Recruitment - Grade III and IV Details
Under the authority granted by “The Assam Direct Recruitment Commission for Analogous Posts in Class-III and Class-IV Act, 2021,” we welcome online applications from eligible candidates who are Indian citizens and hold a registration number in the Employment Exchange of Assam. The purpose is to fill approximately 12,600 vacant Class-III and IV positions across various government establishments/departments in the State of Assam.
Posts will be reserved for different categories in accordance with the current Government Rules. Specifics regarding job openings, including details of Pay Band, Grade Pay, and more, will be disclosed prior to the examination, along with information about the reservations.
Educational Qualifications required for various Grade - III posts
Category – I (Bachelor Degree Level)
A. At the Bachelor’s Degree Level
B. Bachelor’s Degree accompanied by a Computer Certificate/Diploma of at least 6 (six) months from an accredited Institute
C. Bachelor’s Degree with a Computer Certificate/Diploma lasting a minimum of 6 (six) months, along with a Stenography Certificate from a recognized Institute
D. Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science along with a Computer Certificate/Diploma of at least 6 (six) months from a recognized Institute
B. Bachelor’s Degree accompanied by a Computer Certificate/Diploma of at least 6 (six) months from an accredited Institute
C. Bachelor’s Degree with a Computer Certificate/Diploma lasting a minimum of 6 (six) months, along with a Stenography Certificate from a recognized Institute
D. Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science along with a Computer Certificate/Diploma of at least 6 (six) months from a recognized Institute

Assam Direct Recruitment - Grade III of Age
Age requirement: The candidate must be between 18 and 40 years old as of January 1, 2023.
The upper age limit is relaxable as follows:

C. 2 years for Ex-Servicemen
D. 10 years for PwBD candidates
Candidate age will be determined based on the Matriculation/ HSLC Admit Card/HSLC Passed Certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council. No alternative document will be considered for this purpose.

C. 2 years for Ex-Servicemen
D. 10 years for PwBD candidates
Candidate age will be determined based on the Matriculation/ HSLC Admit Card/HSLC Passed Certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council. No alternative document will be considered for this purpose.
Educational Qualifications required for various Grade - III posts
By the authority vested in The Assam Direct Recruitment Commission for Analogous Posts in Class-III and Class-IV Act, 2021, and the Assam Direct Recruitment for Class-III and Class-IV Analogous Posts Rules 2022, we are welcoming online applications from eligible candidates who are Indian citizens and hold a registration number in the employment exchange of Assam. The purpose is to fill approximately 5000 anticipated vacancies for Class-IV positions across various departments/establishments within the Government of Assam. The positions will adhere to Pay Bands and Grade Pay as outlined in ROP, 2017, along with additional admissible allowances.
Educational Qualifications required for various Grade - IV posts
Category – I
A. HSLC (Class Ten) or Equivalent Examination passed
Total Post – 1060
Category – II
A. Passed the HSLC (Class Ten) or an equivalent examination and possess an ITI pass certificate in trades such as wireman, electrician, fitter, welder, machinist, or Electronics Mechanic from an Institute approved by the Government of Assam.

Category – III
A. Read Up to Class – VIII.

The highest qualifying educational criteria for all Class-IV positions shall be attainment of HSSLC (Class-12) or an equivalent examination. Candidates possessing qualifications higher than this maximum educational requirement on the application date will not be eligible to apply for any of the mentioned posts or categories. The current number of vacancies is provisional, and comprehensive vacancy particulars, including Pay Band, Grade Pay, along with details on open and reserved positions, will be made public at least one week before the examination. This information will strictly adhere to the prevailing Government Laws, rules, and norms.
