Pre-entry test (PET) - 2023

For admission into 2-year diploma in elementary education (d.el.ed.) Course for the session 2023-2025
Online applications are hereby invited from eligible candidates who are permanent resident of Assam to appear in the Pre-Entry Test (PET)-2023 for admission into 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). Course. The course will be conducted in the NCTE recognized Teacher Education Institutes (DIET/CTE/Normal School/BTC/Pvt. TEIs) of the state for the academic session 2023-2025.
Minimum Educational Qualification :
The candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (HS) [10+2] from recognized Board/Council with at least 50% marks in aggregate excluding marks secured in the optional/extra/fourth subject.
For candidates belonging to SC/ST(P)/ST(H) category there will be relaxation of 5% of marks in aggregate excluding marks secured in the optional/extra/fourth subject.
Age :
The candidate must not be less than 18 years and not more than 34 years as on 1st July, 2023. There will be relaxation by 2 years in upper age limit for candidates belonging to SC, ST(P) & ST(H) categories.

Reservation :
Reservation of seats for the candidates belonging to reserved categories including OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H), Person with Disability (PWD), EWS will be as per Reservation Policy.

HOW TO APPLY :
Candidates must submit their application form through online mode only by visiting the official website i.e., https://scertpet.co.in. No other mode of application will be entertained.

Application Fees :
Rs. 600.00 (Rupees Six Hundred Only) for all categories to be paid online through
Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card etc. during submission of application form.

Venue for Pre-Entry Test (PET)-2023 :
The Venue for Pre-Entry Test (PET)-2023 will be allocated in the “District” selected by the candidates during submission of application form, which will be indicated in

the ADMIT card of the candidates. Seats will be allotted to the selected candidates in the Teacher Education Institutes (TEls) of the “District” in which the candidates choose to appear for the Pre-Entry Test (PET) 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam University B.Ed Admission

To be eligible for the Programme, a candidate must meet the following educational qualification criteria –

Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree: The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks in either a Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in Science, Social Science, Humanity, or any equivalent qualification.

Bachelor in Engineering Technology: The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics and should have secured a minimum of 55% marks.

Equivalent Qualification: If a candidate possesses any other qualification that is deemed equivalent to the aforementioned degrees, they are also eligible for the Programme.

Candidates who have appeared for their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree can fill up the Online Application Form; however, they must fulfill the condition of completing their degree with at least 50% marks before the declaration of the Entrance Examination result.

Affiliated to Gauhati University, the college has been assessed and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in cycle 2 in October, 2015 and awarded Grade B. The college is imparting education both Higher secondary and Degree Courses in Arts and Commerce stream. Location

Kharupetia College is situated at Bologarah under Shyamabari Mouza about 1 k.m. west from Kharupetia Town under Mangaldai sub-division. It is about 15 k.m. away from Mangaldai, the District head quarters of Darrang and is connected by the N.H. 15.
