This certificate is crucial for securing government jobs in Assam. There are two ways citizens may apply registration in employment exchange:
1. Aadhaar Based – This is the preferred options. Citizens who possess an Aadhaar belonging to Assam may apply registration in the employment exchange.
2. Non Aadhaar Based – This is only applicable for those candidates who do not possess an Aadhaar due to NRC issues. They are advised to approach their nearest Employment Exchange.

Employment Exchange of Required Document
For successful registration, candidates must ensure the following:
Valid Mobile Number – A functional and active mobile number is mandatory to complete the registration process.
Educational Documents : As part of the application, candidates are required to compile all their pass certificates and mark sheets into a single PDF file. It’s essential to scan these documents clearly to ensure legibility, as any unclear or illegible copies may lead to application rejection.

Age Proof : Candidates have to submit any one of the following documents as their age proof.

PWD Certificate : For candidates with disabilities (PWD), a disability certificate issued by the appropriate authority will be necessary.

– Alternatively, you can use documents like Driving License (either self or parents), Copy of Chitha/Jamabandi (either self or parents), Copy of Passport (either self or parents), Certified Copy of Electoral Roll/EPIC (either self or parents) for proof of residency.
