Pre-entry test (PET) - 2023
For admission into 2-year diploma in elementary education (d.el.ed.) Course for the session 2023-2025
Online applications are hereby invited from eligible candidates who are permanent resident of Assam to appear in the Pre-Entry Test (PET)-2023 for admission into 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). Course. The course will be conducted in the NCTE recognized Teacher Education Institutes (DIET/CTE/Normal School/BTC/Pvt. TEIs) of the state for the academic session 2023-2025.
Minimum Educational Qualification :
The candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (HS) [10+2] from recognized Board/Council with at least 50% marks in aggregate excluding marks secured in the optional/extra/fourth subject.

For candidates belonging to SC/ST(P)/ST(H) category there will be relaxation of 5% of marks in aggregate excluding marks secured in the optional/extra/fourth subject.
Age :
The candidate must not be less than 18 years and not more than 34 years as on 1st July, 2023. There will be relaxation by 2 years in upper age limit for candidates belonging to SC, ST(P) & ST(H) categories.
Reservation :
Reservation of seats for the candidates belonging to reserved categories including OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H), Person with Disability (PWD), EWS will be as per Reservation Policy.
HOW TO APPLY :
Candidates must submit their application form through online mode only by visiting the official website i.e., https://scertpet.co.in. No other mode of application will be entertained.
Application Fees :
Rs. 600.00 (Rupees Six Hundred Only) for all categories to be paid online through
Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card etc. during submission of application form.
Admit Card :
Candidates have to download his/her Admit Card from the website https://scertpet.co.in
Venue for Pre-Entry Test (PET)-2023 :
The Venue for Pre-Entry Test (PET)-2023 will be allocated in the “District” selected by the candidates during submission of application form, which will be indicated in
the ADMIT card of the candidates. Seats will be allotted to the selected candidates in the Teacher Education Institutes (TEls) of the “District” in which the candidates choose to appear for the Pre-Entry Test (PET) 2023.
